Mechanism of Action

Jardiance works by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and glucose in the kidneys. To bring that mechanism to life, we used a spinning glass cube as the central visual device. The film follows a Jardiance molecule as it moves down the kidney tubule, with rotations revealing new scenes and shifting the viewer between macro and microscopic views.

Developed in collaboration with Taylor James, the piece took shape through iterative storyboards, visual exploration, and hands-on working sessions.
